Company is very fragmented so you get transferred all over the place. Have to give them insurance and drug company information numerous times. Refilling your prescription is a nightmare as you can’t do it from the app. When you call, rep assures you medication refill is on the way and then system cancels it. Have to call and start all over. Takes me several calls and 2 hours every time I need a refill. Then they are to bill my insurance and drug company copay program. They bill me instead so more phone calls and literally hours sent on this.

Accrdo advertise they lend to business when no one else will and the reason is that they have no intention of helping the business but put their own interest first. All the interest is charged up front and for early settlement the full interest that would be earned over the loan period is added on. Don't use Accredo if you can possibly help it as it should be the lender of last resort. I have asked for a refinance and instead of refinancing the Loan balance they take the capital amount as the loan balance plus interest, so I would be paying interest on interest not earned by Accredo yet. Accredo take advantage of desperate people in difficult circumstances, It may be legal but it is not ethical.

More About Accredo

Accredo is a UK-based specialist commercial finance broker, not a direct lender. Founded to connect businesses with appropriate funding solutions, it operates from a panel of lenders and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for credit broking. The company focuses on asset finance, vehicle finance, and commercial mortgages, positioning itself as a broker for businesses that may have difficulty securing funding through mainstream channels.

Key features

Accredo provides a free initial consultation with a dedicated finance broker and an online application with quick pre-qualification. The broker panel includes over 50 specialist lenders, offering sector-specific expertise in areas such as agriculture, care homes, and construction. FCA regulation provides consumer protection for credit broking. No-obligation quotes are available, and there are no upfront fees. The service is designed to assist with complex cases, including borrowers with bad credit, no accounts, or startup businesses.

  • Access to a wide panel of lenders, increasing chances of approval
  • Specialist expertise in hard-to-place cases (e.g., bad credit, startups)
  • Free initial consultation and no-obligation quotes
  • Dedicated account manager for personalised service
  • Fast online application process with quick decisions
  • Coverage of niche sectors including agriculture, construction, and transport
  • FCA regulated, providing consumer protection
  • Can fund 100% of asset value in some cases

Eligibility

Businesses may qualify for funding through Accredo if they are UK-registered and based in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland. There is no minimum trading period for some products, such as asset finance with a deposit, while other products typically require 3 to 12 months of trading history. No minimum annual turnover is specified, as this varies by lender on the panel. Excluded sectors are not publicly available, but the lender likely excludes high-risk or unregulated industries.

How to apply

Applications can be submitted online via the website form or offline by phone or email. The initial decision typically takes from same day up to 3 business days, depending on the product and lender. Funding speed ranges from 24 hours to 2 weeks, with asset finance often completing in 1 to 3 days, while mortgages may take several weeks.

  • Complete an online or offline application form with business and personal details.
  • Provide the latest 3 to 6 months of business bank statements.
  • Submit proof of identity (passport or driving licence) and proof of address (utility bill).
  • Provide business accounts if available, or trading history documentation.
  • Supply an invoice or proforma for the asset being financed.
  • For startups or mortgage applications, a business plan is required.

Funding Agent's view

Accredo is a commercial finance broker that specialises in arranging asset-backed lending, including vehicle finance, equipment finance, and commercial mortgages, for UK businesses. A key strength is its panel of niche lenders, which may help secure funding for borrowers with poor credit, limited trading history, or in specialised sectors such as agriculture and care homes. However, because Accredo acts as a broker rather than a direct lender, rates may include broker fees, and arrangement or broker fees may apply on successful funding. Borrowers should consider that personal guarantees are often required, and interest rates can vary significantly depending on the lender on the panel. This service may be less suitable for businesses seeking unsecured working capital or those that prefer a direct lender relationship. Overall, Accredo may be relevant for businesses that need specialist asset-backed finance and are comfortable with broker-mediated lending.
